THIS SATURDAY: 28 BARS IN 6 CITIES DONATE PART OF EVERY COVER CHARGE TO MUSIC THERAPY
Vancouver, BC, February 26th, 2014 – Music Heals kicks off Music Therapy Awareness Month with the 3rd annual Night Out For Music Heals on Saturday March 1st.
For one night, participating bars & nightclubs will donate $1 from every cover charge to Music Heals. The public can support music therapy simply by going out that night, and visiting any of these establishments:
Vancouver: Bar None, Caprice, Fortune Sound, Ginger 62, Guilt & Company, Joseph Richard, Library Square, Railway Club, Relish, The Blarney Stone, The Cellar, The Charles Bar, The Imperial, The Lamplighter, The Media Club, The Roxy, and Venue.
Whistler: Buffalo Bills, Garfinkel’s, Tapley’s, The Longhorn
Victoria: Club 9ONE9, Upstairs Cabaret
Nanaimo: The Cambie
Calgary: Ironwood Stage & Grill, The Roadhouse
Regina: McNally’s Tavern

About Music Heals
The Music Heals Charitable Foundation raises awareness of the healing powers of music and fundraises for music therapy and related services across Canada. Their mission is to unite music therapy-related charitable initiatives, and increase patient accessibility to music therapy in children’s hospitals, seniors’ homes, palliative care facilities, at-risk youth programs and more.
