Billboard Award Winner Rocks Fair Grinds Coffeehouse

“Alternative music that will blow you away,” was Music Xray's description of the Melodic Rock outfit Auto Defiance.

Winner of Billboard's World Songwriter Award, Auto Defiance will be at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse in New Orleans on March 11, 2014, kicking off their 2014 SXSW Tour. The three city tour, beginning on March 10, will include New Orleans, Louisiana, Austin, Texas, and Dallas, Texas, respectively.

Auto Defiance is known for passionate songwriting with big, atmospheric guitars, sweeping choruses, and evocative lyrics. The band’s influences are apparent, but not overt, with hints of The Cure and early U2.

RSVP on Facebook Events by searching Auto Defiance @ Bill's Records for your chance to win prizes live at the show!

Auto Defiance infiltrated the country music epicenter with a seductive mix of alternative rock, indie pop and modern rock. The five-piece band is headed by lead singer/songwriter Bradley Boyer, who after a stint jumping from high-flying aircraft, decided to morph his musical prowess into one of Nashville’s most beloved rock acts.

Their hit song “Heart Attack” will be featured in this tour, with singles for purchase.

Running on the Edge, released in 2013, is comprised of every thing from dreamy ballads to high-energy rock anthems. Currently, the band plans to take its amicable rock across the Atlantic to audiences in Europe—never shying away from the opportunity to cross borders and explore new frontiers.

This SXSW tour is just the beginning, spicing up life in New Orleans, partying with locals in Austin and finally bringing it home with modern-day Dallas.

To book Auto Defiance for an interview or show, please call 214-604-7262.

Auto Defiance also invites people to visit their event page on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/autodef and on the web at www.autodefiance.com.
