Game Changing Direct-to-fan Platform PledgeMusic Relaunches With Complete Redesign And Updates

PledgeMusic has announced a highly anticipated relaunch of their site with a series of design and tech updates to further enhance users' experience. The direct-to-fan platform was created to deeply engage fans with their favorite artists' music, expanding beyond the traditional means of just purchasing some merchandise or downloading/streaming a song. Since its debut in 2009, PledgeMusic has concluded thousands of successful campaigns and given music fans around the globe an unprecedented chance to be a part of the music-making process with "exclusives" such as experiences and items upon either pre-ordering or pledging support. The platform has built an active and growing community of passionate music super fans who use PledgeMusic to not only support artists that they love but also to discover new ones.

Now, as PledgeMusic enters its 5th year of engaging music lovers, it unveils a series of changes and updates to deepen the relationship between artists and fans, allowing the artist to remain at the heart of the campaign and create their own space on the platform. The core of the PledgeMusic journey begins with the theme, Music As It Happens.

The new platform is optimized to offer fans a front row seat to the process of making and releasing music and not just the selling of it, offering exclusive items such as signed memorabilia and higher tiered, once-in-lifetime experiences such as private concerts and VIP tickets to album release parties.

Key features of the updated platform include a minimization of the PledgeMusic branding, which now prominently features the artists profile throughout the Pledgers experience. Artists are given a space to interact directly with their fan base and can run either a pre-order or private target based campaign for their new work. Campaign pages now prominently display either a target or pre-order option to energize fans and Pledgers "exclusives" are now available with images to be viewed on a grid system instead of the more traditional ascending list. Using this format, fans can quickly see what is available and are encouraged to participate. As PledgeMusic is dedicated to the discovery of artists, fans will be able to better connect with the music as the site will place a bigger focus on sample tracks and will prominently feature a fans dedicated "feed" with featured projects and items being curated to surface more ways to participate.

As a marketing platform for artists and labels the PledgeMusic redesign places a strong emphasis on social media at the core of its platform. The new PledgeMusic site allows participating fans to automatically re-post preview versions of Pledgers only updates to their social networks. By using this unique auto syndication service, artists can exponentially reach a wider audience than before and allow fans to spread what is happening throughout an artists campaign in real time.

Lastly, PledgeMusic has been recognized for its outstanding customer support both for fans and artists. The passionate team of 40 team members across the globe works hand-in-hand with artists to build and craft compelling projects that both excite and engage fans.
