FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –

The singer and songwriter known as Mickangel Leprince has released his new LP record album, titled, “Creation (Genesis).” The record is comprised of 12 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 45 minutes. It has been released on the Creation Entertainment Group record label. A collection of songs in a wide variety of genres and subgenres, “Creation (Genesis)” by Mickangel Leprince is a pop record with flavors from many locales and styles that has been underlined as a new form of music altogether.

Mickangel Leprince cites as his main artistic influences such legends as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Marc Anthony, and Jon Secada. As such, his own unique musical character bears a great many marks of having been inspired by each of them, though the result is emphatically new and unfamiliar.

Leprince's official Facebook page and bio proudly declare him to be the innovator of a new school of music he has called zoukrock, being a mix of both rock 'n' roll and zouk music. Wiki defines zouk as “a fast tempo jump up carnival style of music originating from the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique, popularized by the French Antilles kassav in the 1980s.” Appropriately, several of Leprince's songs on “Creation (Genesis)” are infused with a distinctive island tone.

Thematically, music by Mickangel Leprince is centered on topics of both personal and social importance. Leprince himself describes the themes of his lyrics simply: “Hope, Perseverance, Love, Truth, Politics…”

“Creation (Genesis)” is the third studio album from Mickangel Leprince, who has recorded over 200 songs. The new LP is partially named after his live band, Creation (sometimes stylized as CREATION). Born in the musical hotbed of the 1980s, Leprince grew up playing music with artists twice his age, which experience taught him about writing and performing music as a professional. He has also worked as a music producer for some time.

“As a songwriter,” his bio reads, “Mickangel Leprince focuses on lifting up the less fortunate. Most of his writing is based real-life experiences that bless people.”

“Creation (Genesis)” by Mickangel Leprince is available online worldwide.
