LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 29, 2014 — JMWest LIVE!, presented by Beverly Hills based record label JMWest Entertainment, released the official line up for the April 2nd showcase at The Mint. These monthly mini-music festivals showcase up and coming, ready-to-sign talent hand-picked by record producer/songwriter, Jean-Michel Soupraya.

This month’s showcase promises to present an eclectic group of artists, offering music for every time of music-lover. Make sure to pre-order your tickets at www.jmwestlive.com!

Kylie Marcus is a 21-year old American Pop/R&B singer--a female Bruno Mars. Imagine the musical offspring of Barbara Streisand and James Brown and you have a glimpse into the soul of Kylie Marcus. Her first radio single, “Yellow Shirt,” is already #4 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart, and has placed in the top 100 on Mediabase airplay charts in Rhythmic, Urban and Top 40. Her debut EP No Disguise, released on March 18, 2014, and came in at #2 on iTunes Top 100 New Releases in R&B/Soul. Kylie’s lyrics are raw, real, and can rock the boat at times, but “I can’t do it any other way,” she says. “This is how I express myself; it’s the only way I know how.”

Trash Honey is a four-piece band and currently the house band at The Old Place in Malibu, CA. Based out of Thousand Oaks, Trash Honey was formed in March of 2012 and has since gone on to play numerous showcases at SXSW in Austin, Texas, several shows in the greater Los Angeles area, and private parties for local charities, international corporations and a handful of A-List celebrities. Often compared to and inspired by Wilco, The Beatles, Tame Impala and The Lumineers, Trash Honey combines folk, country, and blues influences. With an emphasis on catchy melodies and soothing four-part harmonies, their sound includes a storytelling vibe that reaches listeners of (mostly) all ages and musical backgrounds.

PRIVET EARTH! is your personal launch into the new genre of Blitz-Rock. It all started when Ivan Smirnov moved to Los Angeles from a small town in Russia to pursue his dream of music. In early 2013 he was joined by Texans Megan Mullins (drums) and Shannon Deane (bass) to form a fiery blitz-rock trio. In November 2013, the band took the 1st special appearance on VH1’s Top 20 Video Countdown in December 2013. In February 2014, PRIVET EARTH! was ranked as the #1 rock band in the world, according to ReverbNation charts, and have become the #1 ReverbMation Artist in the World in all genres in March 2014. PRIVET EARTH! is ready to take on the universe!

Terry Got Fired (TGF) is an Alt/Pop band based in Los Angeles, Ca. They're heavily influenced by Ska, Hip-Hop and Funk and it shows in their music. Despite being on the scene for only about a year, they've already played over 50 shows at some notably famous venues such as Viper Room, House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe and Whiskey a Go Go. Their debut EP is set to be released by summer 2014.

A Is For Rebel is band from Southern California, merging styles from 90's pop, 2000's rock, and contemporary styles of melodic anthems. Musicians since their early teens and now in their late 20s and early 30s, Neil, Josh and Richard started this latest project with the intent of using the band as an opportunity to sing about what people shy away from: the fears, the vengeful thoughts, the secret hopes, and the eventual victories of life.

Bernov-Archangel-Babayan was created by Russian songstress Tatiana Archangel, who partnered with big-red-bass-balalaika-playing Oleg Bernov (of Red Elvises), and versatile Los Angeles drummer Konstantin Babayan. They are a Russian-infused music act designed to move you!

Purchase your tickets presale for $10 at jmwestlive.com, or for $20 at the door. We look forward to seeing you for an exciting, debut evening at The Mint!
