Clear Channel And BBR Music Group Imprints Broken Bow And Stoney Creek Records Announce Revenue-Sharing Agreement

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the leading media company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet and BBR Music Group, an independent country music label, announced an agreement that will enable its imprints Broken Bow Records and Stoney Creek Records and its artists to share in revenue across Clear Channel's broadcast radio and iHeartRadio streaming stations.

Broken Bow Records' roster of artists includes ACM nominee and reigning "Male Vocalist of the Year" Jason Aldean, who recently scored his 13th career chart-topping off his current album NIGHT TRAIN, which earned PLATINUM certification in only four weeks after release. Aldean has sold over 8.5 million albums to date and the Macon, Ga. native will kick off his headlining 2014 BURN IT DOWN TOUR on May 1 and the tour includes stops at five Major League baseball stadiums. Aldean has already sold out several of the upcoming stadium dates, two nights at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and just rolled out a three-night run in Atlanta.

The BBR Music Group is also home to some of the most promising young artists in country music, including:

* Randy Houser took Country Radio by storm with the 2013 release of his Stoney Creek Records album How Country Feels. Scoring Platinum certifications and back-to-back No. 1 hits with the title track and "Runnin' Outta Moonlight," Houser earned the American Country Award for Most Played Radio Track: Male ("How Country Feels") and is gaining momentum in the Top 5 with current single, which he co-wrote, "Goodnight Kiss."

* Celebrated by Rolling Stone editors as "THE New Hat in Town" in the magazine's 2013 "Best of Rock" issue, Dustin Lynch will release, "Where It's At," the lead single from his upcoming sophomore album to Country Radio on March 31st. Since his debut single "Cowboys and Angels" became a modern Country classic, Lynch has scored a #1 album, sold over 1 million singles and surpassed 10 million views on YouTube/ VEVO. 

* "Band of Brothers" Parmalee, named for the band's hometown in North Carolina, recently dominated the country radio charts with the two-week #1, GOLD-selling single "Carolina." Parmalee's Top 40 debut country radio single, "Musta Had A Good Time" was voted #1 by fans for four consecutive weeks on SiriusXM The Highway¹s "Hot 30 LIVE" and new single "Close Your Eyes" is quickly rising up the charts. Each song appears on Parmalee's debut country album, FEELS LIKE CAROLINA, in stores now. 

* Reigning 2x ACM and 2012 CMA "Vocal Duo of the Year" Thompson Square
 has earned two #1 smash singles, six Top 20 hits, seven mainstream awards and over 25 nominations (including 2 GRAMMY as well as American Music Award and Teen Choice Award nods). Thompson Square's current single, "Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About" is the second consecutive smash off the duo's new album JUST FEELS GOOD.

Clear Channel's partnership with Broken Bow Records follows the company's landmark revenue-sharing agreement with Warner Music Group – the first wide-ranging strategic alliance between a major music company and Clear Channel.

Clear Channel has also reached similar market-based agreements with independent music companies including Big Machine Label Group, Glassnote Entertainment Group, eOne, Dualtone, DashGo, Black River Entertainment, rpm Entertainment, Robbins Entertainment, Naxos, Wind-up Records, Fearless Records, Zojak World Wide and Suburban Noize Records, as well as recording artists Fleetwood Mac.
