Ben Mauro Announces EP RELEASE PARTY For "TAKE YOUR TIME"

Bookmark and Share
Syracuse, NY— “Take Your Time” — Ben Mauro announces BACK WHERE IT ALL BEGAN, a very special release party for his new solo EP, “Take Your Time” on UVT Entertainment. Mr. Mauro, a dynamic and talented Syracuse native currently on a world tour playing guitar with Grammy Award winner Lionel Richie, plans to debut his brand new solo EP right in his hometown. Ben’s EP RELEASE PARTY will bring his star power to the stage at Shifty’s Bar & Grill on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
"It is important for me to do this in my hometown. I grew up here. My parents still live here. Part of this new EP was written about my family and the memories we made together. I want to be a part of Syracuse because I’m proud of this community. " (Ben Mauro)
Coming Full Circle
Ben will be having his EP RELEASE PARTY at Shifty’s – which holds special significance because their Wednesday Open Mic Night was the first time Ben ever got on stage and played guitar as a solo artist. This exclusive night just for his Syracuse fans truly is BACK WHERE IT ALL BEGAN. To further showcase local music and the importance of support within the community, Phoenix Eleven will be playing during this stellar event. Phoenix Eleven is a well-known Syracuse band, who recently won a House of Blues Battle of the Bands Competition and can claim a SAMMY award to their credit. Other special guests, including Ricky Chisholm – one of the first bandmates Ben had and a former member of Atlas - will be sitting in during the intimate concert.
Everyone Should CNY
Portions of the concert, favorite childhood haunts and other local attractions will be filmed for “LET’S GO with Ben Mauro”, the travel series that Ben created while on tour with various artists like Lionel Richie, John Fogerty and Don Felder. Syracuse will have a chance to shine as Ben shows off why his hometown rocks and was a big part of helping to launch him onto the stages of arenas all over the world.
