Prog-Rock To Disco Rock, 3 Danish Bands Join Canadian Music Week
For Immediate Release: April 25, 2014; (Toronto, ON) For Canadian Music Week, Danish management company Enough Said Music are bringing three of the best bands currently part of the growing rock scene in Scandinavia. LISERSTILLE delivers complicated prog/classical music in a modern setting, Dance With Dirt plays strait on rock’n’roll with great songwriting, blood and sweat, while Federal Unicorn brings the party mixing rock with disco elements and an exceptional ear for pop hooks.
LISERSTILLE plays uncompromising and theatrical rock, mixing modern composition with epic storytelling. With a past in post-rock the band has on previously releases launched themselves into a sound inspired by modern prog-rock. The band can now celebrate their 10th anniversary by playing CMW in Canada, signing a major sync deal in the US, a European booking deal – and praise from Rolling Stone Magazine.

Dance With Dirt consists of four fearless boys from the Danish countryside, who dare join the alignment of rock legacy. The reason for this is simple: Rock music really can – more than anything – provide good times and the feeling of unity. And in their version the music must be played BY humans, FOR humans. Without any bullshit. Biggest of live achievements so far are among others; playing the renowned Rock For People festival 2013 in Czech Republic, Smukfest/Skanderborg festival in Denmark 2012 and 2013, SPOT Festival in Denmark 2012, Tallinn Music Week in Estonia 2013 - and of course the great Canadian Music Week.

Federal Unicorn: Frivolous, extravagant and persistent – this rock'n'roll trio of contrasting, yet coherent personalities brings about a diverse and durable selection of songs spiced up with a transcendent and captivating stage act. While their sound remains oddly familiar, there is not a single doubt as to their admiration for originality. Structurally simplistic and musically elaborate this band is up to squeezing every single drop from their deliberately limited gear. Releasing their debut album February 2014 in Denmark Federal Unicorn have started their launch into an international career as positive feedback starts to stream in from all around the world.

"This will be the biggest industry conference that all three acts have played so far and we are all quite excited to connect with the North American market," explains manager Jonathan Lyby. "I also hope to spot some new acts that we could bring to Denmark for touring and releasing. All in all we just hope for at great time at CMW and meeting new people who love music as much as we do!"
