Out Of Nowhere And Gaining Speed

Bookmark and Share
Seemingly out of nowhere rock band Saints of Rebellion stormed onto the music scene in February and hasn't looked back since. The band has made quite an impression in a short amount of time. Information was leaked in January about the group in sort of cryptic messages posted by their new label HighVolMusic. Over time, additional bits and pieces were revealed allowing more and more clues of what this musical group was to be. At the time of this writing, the band has quickly amassed a good amount of fans, followers, and the curious in just under 3 months. Numbers don't lie and the bands growth continues daily. With a great look and image, their musical style is sure to appeal to a wide range of music fans across the board. The release of two songs from their upcoming debut album New American Dream wipes away any skepticism that this band is just a lot of hype.

In going around the table, the band is comprised of Zakk Wylde influenced guitarist John Adams, ex Bulletboys drummer Ryche Green, ex Wasabi and punk influenced bassist Jay Hitaffer, and Arkansas native soulful power vocalist Coby DeShazo who by the way worked in Nashville extensively some years ago. A diverse pool of musicians to say the least, one would not think that these four very different musicians would join the same band much less play together! But that is the beauty and genius of Saints of Rebellion and that is what makes this band different from many others.

What you see is what you get and live the band is anything but monotonous. Catching performances in FL and WV, Saints of Rebellion is a very solid act and consistent in their show. The band delivers from recording to stage and the set-list of songs takes you on a roller coaster ride you never want to end. The live music goes over well and captures fans almost magically. Before the end of any song, fans are singing the words right back to the band which is crazy to think since there are only a couple of songs available to hear. This just goes to show that Saints of Rebellion in its infancy stage has something going on that is magnanimous and larger than the sum of its individual parts. The interaction between band and fan is astonishing.

The team behind the band is doing something right. The Saints of Rebellion hype is everywhere and shows no signs of slowing. The band has been selected to perform on several prominent festivals this year including: Wolf Fest 2014 , Skullfest 2, Rock ní Skull, Summer Rock Party, Rockerz Gone Wild Pool Party II and Soundwaves Music Festival. This is pretty impressive for a band just coming out of the gate, kudos to the people handling them. A recent press release also mentions that the band will be on a full summer tour in support of their new album so there are plenty of opportunities to catch Saints of Rebellion. Music fans rejoice and go out and support Saints of Rebellion.

Saints of Rebellion is very marketable with a solid brand that spans musical genres. But here is the straight honest truth; they aren't offering up anything new except great rock and roll and that sure as hell is the shot of adrenaline that active rock needs at the moment.
