New Music Book / Full-Service Music Management & Mentoring

California nonprofit Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS, est. 2004) launches the new book "Digital Da Vinci: Computers in Music" coauthored / edited by IFERS' president Newton Lee and published by Springer Science+Business Media (est. 1842). The new book opens with the interviews of music mogul Quincy Jones, MP3 inventor Karlheinz Brandenburg, Tommy Boy founder Tom Silverman, and entertainment attorney Jay L. Cooper whose client list includes Katy Perry, Jerry Seinfeld, Mel Brooks, and Sheryl Crow.

"Given the, oft times, unorthodox ways of the music business, Newton Lee's writing presents a clear and concise view of a creative business so many admire," said Brad Mason LeBeau, founder of PRO MOTION (est. 1983).

A strong supporter of science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs in schools, The Black Eyed Peas founding member will.i.am announced in July 2013 his plan to study computer science. "Digital Da Vinci: Computers in Music" also features internationally renowned authors and music researchers. The new book is available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, other bookstores and libraries worldwide.
