Rock Revival Launches Nationwide Music Contest With Live Nation Partnership

Los Angeles based denim brand, Rock Revival, launches a nationwide talent search, partnering with Live Nation Entertainment, Inc.

The contest, titled 'Your Moment to Rock', begins today at 12n PT, where aspiring musicians from around the country will compete to perform an opening set at an upcoming House of Blues show in either Chicago, Las Vegas or Dallas. Three grand prize packages will be provided to three bands that submit an original song and photo through a custom artist gallery on Rock Revival's Facebook Page.

"Throughout the past few years, our brand has aligned our campaigns to various iconic themes and moments in music. The fusion of fashion and music is nothing new and it's certainly going to evolve more with technology,' says Rock Revival marketing representative, Sarah Brown. 'From rock legends that have transcended time to current pop sensations, musicians have inspired design trends and influenced consumer behavior. The current state of fashion marketing has shifted from Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter to now include 'Festival Season'. Brands are relying on music events for exposure, where the artists have seemingly taken a backseat in the convergence.

We want to shift the attention back to the music by recognizing the great artists of today. There are so many incredible bands right now that will be the source of inspiration for future generations and we want to introduce our consumers to them first. Rock Revival's mission is more than commemorating music's style icons of the past, we're looking to celebrate the legends of tomorrow, today."

Fans of the brand will be able to listen to, share and vote for each artist's entries on the custom app, designed to generate more exposure for the musicians. Seasoned music industry representatives from both Live Nation and House of Blues will judge the finalists on the basis of their song creativity, lyric content and brand image.

Along with opening a House of Blues show, the three bands will also receive Rock Revival apparel and a $500 gift card. The contest will end on June 16, 2014 at 11:59PM PT and is open to unsigned bands only. Contest details can be found on Rock Revival's Facebook Page.

In addition to talent search contest, Rock Revival's partnership with Live Nation is sponsoring three concerts, one at each of the Chicago, Dallas, and Las Vegas House of Blues locations. Neon Trees will be kicking-off the series on June 1st in Dallas, a stop on their Pop Psychology Tour. Later in June, A Great Big World will performing their hit, 'Say Something' from their debut album 'Is Anybody Out There?' in Chicago on the 27th. The series will end in October with a show in Las Vegas (artist TBD) where fans will have a chance to win a trip for two (including airfare, accommodations and tickets to the show), through the 'Rock Flight' sweepstakes which will launch in July.
