Burn Halo, Featuring Former Eighteen Visions Frontman James Hart, Premiere New Video For “Wolves of War”
New Album “Wolves of War” In Stores September 23rd
Burn Halo have announced a September 23rd release for their upcoming new album “Wolves of War" through via Epochal Label Group. The album is the follow-up to their 2011 sophomore effort "Up From the Ashes", which debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts at #12. In anticipation of the album release, Burn Halo have also premiered their video for the album's title track “Wolves of War" online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSbqYEt0V8Q&feature=youtu.be.
“The song ‘Wolves of War’ is a statement of aggression and angst towards all that have never given us a chance. This is our answer to the naysayers. With a foot upon your throat, we will be heard,” says Burn Halo vocalist James Hart. “Our label and management felt confident enough after hearing early demos that they pretty much left us alone during the recording process allowing us to make the record we envisioned, with no compromises and no regrets. This album is that vision."
Sacramento, CA based Burn Halo is the hard rock, guitar driven band of former Eighteen Visions frontman James Hart who along with guitarist Joey Roxx formed the group after the dissolution of his former outfit. Facing a similar situation with his band Die Trying Joey joined forces with James to create a band that brought together all of their shared influences from hard rock to metal, With Ryan Frost on guitar, Chris Bishop on bass & John Duarte holding down the beat, this say's Joey
"Is the band we've always wanted, I can't wait to hit the road with these guys."
Burn Halo's self-titled debut album was released in 2009 and the album's lead single "Dirty Little Girl", which featured Avenged Sevenfold's Synyster Gates on guitar, instantly became a mainstream rock radio hit. The band immediately took their brand of explosive hard rock to the masses on the road with acts like Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Static-X, Saliva and Halestorm. Burn Halo followed up the success of their debut with the release of their sophomore effort, "Up from the Ashes", which unleashed the single "Tear It Down". "Up from the Ashes" took the anthemic, radio-ready hard rock of Burn Halo's debut and melded it with their the molten metalcore of Eighteen Visions to create the next sonic evolution of the band's sound.
