RadioFlag To Give Talk At TEDx In New Jersey
RadioFlag, Inc. Public Relations Director, Annika Lorienne, and Director of Business Development, Ravind Kumar will co-present at TEDx Navesink on April 11, 2015 on the campus of Monmouth University, just an hour outside of NYC. A sold out audience of approximately 700 is expected. RadioFlag's speakers will talk about how 'Connective Listening' technology enables listeners to access and socialize around local perspectives and ideas streaming from around the world, opening ears to not only news, entertainment, sports, emerging artists and fresh sound, but also new cultures entirely. Lorienne and Kumar will also address how millenials have been the early adopters of this new radio empowerment thinking, and how emerging music artists are taking advantage of it by directly connecting with radio DJs on the RadioFlag platform. In doing so, they are receiving radio airplay not readily available to indie artists without big label funding. The highlight of their talk will spotlight how their start up's 'Connective Listening' solutions can also serve to educate, inform and accelerate progress in the developing world. TEDx Navesink organizers are also leveraging RadioFlag's technology, so they can broadcast the event for the first time via internet radio, and interact with listeners. Their new station iNAVE can be found on the app and the company's website. RadioFlag's Founder and CEO, Anthony Roman said his entire team was thrilled to learn their company was invited to present. "TED conferences encourage, embrace and promote new ideas with global initiatives, so when we were selected by TEDx Navesink curators to be one of the speakers for this event, we of course felt honored, and so excited to make the trip to the east coast to do it. The long term vision for our company is ambitious, and there is still a lot of work to be done. So we can't wait to share some of our ideas on April 11th. After that, stay tuned for many exciting RadioFlag developments, as we continue to roll out new features, designs, products and services." Organized by Monmouth University's Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the theme for this years' event is 'Accelerators'. According to TEDx Navesink, an accelerator is: 1. A device for increasing speed. 2. A substance that increases the speed of a reaction. 3. A person or thing that accelerates. Accelerators are change agents. They provide the fuel for which ideas and products are evolved or created, poking holes in knowledge and memes in a memorable way. TEDxNavesink: Accelerators will offer two dozen live talks and entertainment showcasing people and ideas that are speeding up innovation and forging our tomorrow. This event will explore how today's Accelerators are shaping our emerging and upcoming future.
