BritWeek Rock'n'Roll Night – The British Are Invading!!
The British invasion officially kicked off in Los Angles last week with a star-studded opening at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverley Hills.
Amongst the list of Music, Arts and Business Innovation celebrities were will.i.am and the head of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grange, both were BritWeek Award recipients.
The invasion continues throughout April/May with many BritWeek events to attend.
For those who love music, you can’t miss Steve Cooke’s BritWeek Rock’n’Roll night on May 2nd ,hosted by Mini of Universal City at the Sayers Club in Hollywood.
With his trademark blonde curly hair and his 12 string extraordinaire acoustic and electric guitar songs (reminiscent of Ian Hunter and Marc Bolan), he is blazing a trail for the next generation of British Rock’n’Roll. And to top it all off, he has an amazing voice that encapsulates the vibe of singers from the 70’s, like Roger Daltry and Robert Plant.
Steve will be supported by some amazing musicians, including Tom Petty’s Heartbreaker Steve Ferrone on drums and Michael Bradford (Dave Stewart/Deep Purple) on Bass.
This year Steve Cooke has a very special British/American Comedian, Camilla Cleese opening the show. She performs around LA and Southern California and has toured nationally, throughout Canada and in the UK, making appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.
If you want to experience a truly special evening of laughter and music, then the Sayers Club is certainly the place to be with these great talents in the house!
Admission is free, bottle service is available and parking is no problem.
A night fit for a royal and one not to be missed indeed!
Doors open at 8.30pm.
