The television industry’s highest honors were awarded during the EMMY awards on September 20 in Los Angeles, and nine graduates of CRAS - The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences- hold credits on work on 13 nominated shows. Three of those shows won in five categories.

Among the winners:
• 2010 CRAS graduate Jeremy Green was Audio Supervisor Nome, AK for Deadliest Catch which won an Emmy for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program
• 2010 CRAS graduate Austin Poulain was Dialogue Editor (8 episodes, 2014-2015) for Hollywood Game Night which won an EMMY for Outstanding Host For a Reality Or Reality-Competition Program
• 2008 CRAS graduate Tim Limer was Sound Recordist (1 episode, 2014) for Transparent which won three EMMYs for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

“We love all the awards shows because there are always so many CRAS graduates that are nominated and win!” said Kirt Hamm, Administrator of CRAS. “We take great pride in the success of our graduates but there are few phone calls we love receiving more than from a graduate calling to tell us about their first award nomination. You don’t need to be an audio expert to hear the joy and pride in their voice as they thank us for helping them achieve this career milestone.”

Other nominated shows where CRAS graduates hold credits included: Better Call Saul, Empire, Bloodline, The Blacklist, Ray Donovan, Modern Family, Masters of Sex, House of Lies, Grace of Monaco, and The Wahlburgers.
