Bookmark and Share

Music portal BeSonic.com offers Newcomer bands the chance to perform in front of up to 5,000 people a day, within the next two months.

TerraTec goes Haldern again! Also this year the multimedia manufacturer is joining in to support the popular and familial Open-Air Event at the lower part of River Rhine in Germany. Just two months after integrating the popular music portal BeSonic.com (www.besonic.com) into the family, Terra Tec have issued the first big opportunity for all registered Newcomer bands. Bands who apply with three original songs, must be wav- or mp3-format, might get the chance to play in front of up to 5,000 expected visitors at this year's 20th annual Haldern Open Air Festival. The mobile stage of the "TerraTecTalent-Truck" is equipped with a full-blown PA, all set to offer four bands the next step on the career ladder. Haldern Festival, which has attracted a great line-up of artists for this year, including Bright Eyes, The Cardigans, Patti Smith or Kashmir is collaborating for the fourth time with Terra Tec and its BeSonic-pool of some 20.000 artists. These bands and artists present songs on individual BeSonic-Homepages, which are issued both in english and german. Registered BeSonic-Bands who don't want to miss the chance to present themselves on stage at Haldern Festival, August 08./09. in Haldern-Rees at the Lower River Rhine, should apply with no more than three exemplary songs by the deadline, July 5th 2003 in the following manner:

Online: submit the link to your personal BeSonic-Homepage, stating the three selected songs, a Band bio (.doc- or .rtf-format) and a photograph (.jpg or .gif) to: talenttruck@terratec.de

Offline: post a CD with no more than three songs (wav- or.mp3-format), Band biography and photograph to: TerraTec Electronic GmbH, keyword: TerraTecTalentTruck, Herrenpfad 38, D-41334 Nettetal, Germany.

TerraTec / BeSonic will make a pre-selection from all submissions, before the jury of Haldern Open-Air picks the four final bands; that will go to Haldern. The four finalists will be announced on July 20th, 2003 at: www.besonic.com, www.terratec.com and www.haldern-pop.de
