Bookmark and Share

Meier Worldwide Intermedia announced its wholly owned subsidiary, Covenant Corporation, finalized its latest contract to protect Universal Music's entire New School album from online piracy. The album includes the top 10 hit songs "Back in the Day" and "Misunderstood". The "Back In the Day" video featured Chris Judd (former husband to Jennifer Lopez) and remains in "Gold" rotation on various music television stations.

On the heels of his #1 Hit Song "Push it Up" in Latin America, Producer/Artist Adam H. (who has gained international success through BMG Latin, Max Music/Polygram, and AVEX Asia) is returning to North America to release the much anticipated debut by New School. A producer's project, New School's debut is a Pop & R&B fueled album comprised of 15 distinctive tracks. The album is mixed by Juno award winner Shawn Pierce (Metalwood/Hipjoint Inc.).

Covenant has been protecting the "Back in the Day" single for several months and was contracted to protect the entire album that will be released in stores November 18, 2003 by Universal.

To preview tracks of artists including New School, individuals can join Covenant at no charge to become members and have the opportunity to win cash and prizes by helping combat piracy in the industry and protect the artists. By downloading Covenant's patent-pending CMD program at www.protectedbycovenenat.com, members earn the unique opportunity to not only preview music before it is released, but also play a key role in the fight against piracy.

Covenant Corporation, is developing a service designed to counteract online piracy of video, music and software files. Covenant's primary service essentially uploads to pirate sites a large number of fictitious files with a video, music or software name, making it more difficult for visitors to the pirate site to download the real video, music or software they are attempting to pirate.

New School is: A.J., Strawberry, and Kelly Buena, and features Craig Smart (Hipjoint Inc./Soul Decision), Musicians include L.F.G. (Shakira), and Jerry Wong (Biff Naked/Damn The Diva).
