Guitars, Cars & Rockstars
These awesome icons of American culture have converged to celebrate four glorious decades of the Mustang in a special section in the June/July issue of Jane magazine. The layout teams a Daisy Rock Stardust Acoustic/Electric Flamed Maple guitar with the First Lady of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson, and a 1964 Mustang; a Red Hot Red Daisy Rock Heartbreaker Artist guitar with power duo Ann and Nancy for the ultimate muscle car - the 1970 Mustang Boss 302; a Crimson Burst Daisy Rock Stardust Elite Bass with the Go-Go's Jane Wiedlin to bring in the new wave of Mustangs with the 1983 convertible; and an Atomic Pink Daisy Rock Rock Candy Bass turns up the volume with The Donnas for a 2004 Mustang. Daisy Rock and Jane magazine are giving away each guitar featured in the section, which has been signed by the respective artist. All that readers have to do is enter their favorite rock tune from one of the four decades at www.JaneMagazine.com/mustang. "Daisy Rock is honored to be an integral part of Jane's historical and forward-thinking tribute to the Ford Mustang. And who better to make this statement with us than some of the most influential female artists in modern music. Just like our guitars and Ford's cars, Ann and Nancy, Wanda, Jane and The Donnas are timeless and inspiring. Girls rock hard and drive fast, no doubt about it." With Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson endorsed by Daisy Rock, Hilary Duff playing a Heartbreaker, and artists as diverse as Share Ross (Bubble), Nina Hagen, Annie Minogue, Lisa Loeb, Wanda Jackson, L.A. all-girl-band Auburn Court, and Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi) picking Daisies, these guitars are made for women, but guys like The Cure's Robert Smith, Adam Levy (Norah Jones), and Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers) play 'em, too. Daisy Rock Guitars and Ford Mustangs are works of art. And the musicians that play them and the people that drive them? Well, they have exceptional taste! Plug in and ignite the feeling.
