The Guitar Gear Heads Website
We designed Guitar Gear Heads for two reasons. The first reason is to provide our readers with an unbiased review resource for guitar, bass, recording, and live sound gear. These reviews allow manufacturers to reach an immediate audience at a fraction of the cost of other review publications. The second reason for the Guitar Gear Heads site is to provide a focused community where equipment manufacturers can accurately gauge the pulse of the guitar gear buying public. This provides a unique opportunity to obtain direct feedback on current offerings and to elicit ideas for future products. All of this is accomplished through sophisticated community features enabled by a dynamically generated content. Principal among these is our article comment system, discussion forum, user reviews and chat rooms. One of our current strategies is to schedule specific company chat times in our chat room where manufacturers can discuss products directly with our user base in real time. This week construction of Gear Heads Lab was started. Gear Heads Lab is going to be a 600 square foot professional level studio with a sound room and a separate control room. This will allow a high fidelity testing environment for all guitar related gear and recording equipment. We would like to thank all of the companies who have come on board with us already: PreSonus, G&L Guitars, BBE Sound, Furman Sound, BOSS/Roland, LR-Baggs, Stewart MacDonald, Aphex Systems, Wooden Picks, D'Addario/Planet Waves, Curt Mangan Strings, Big Bends Nut Sauce, and Backbeat Books. Furthermore, we would like to thank all the companies that are participating in our comprehensive cable guide project. These companies are Horizon Music, George L's, Monster Cables, ProCo Cables, Cobalt Cables, Planet Waves, and Mogami. All of your contributions are helping to make Guitar Gear Heads one of the premier guitar websites on the Internet. We also have hope to start a guitar project in the works that we will be working with Warmoth Musical Products and select other manufacturers. Guitar Hear Heads is at the beginning of an incredible journey and we invite all guitar, bass, live sound, recording, and guitar related gear companies to come along with us. We believe in the "win-win-win" proposition for us, the manufacturer, and the customer.
