New York, NY, May 2, 2006 - NYC singer/guitarist Dfactor covers Billy Bragg's "A New England" and another track for his latest entry in his 12 Covers - 12 Months series.

Yes, it's a bonus month for all of you tuning in. Cover #5 is Billy Bragg's "A New England", from his 1983 debut LP Life's A Riot with Spy vs. Spy. A few years later, Kristy MacColl would take her cover of "A New England" into the UK charts.

"After seeing Billy make the promo rounds last month for his careerworthy box set," says Dfactor, "I was inspired to strip down my recording for this month. I took my trusty acoustic and two microphones into my bathroom in the last week in April (while staving off a cold) and knocked out a live version of Billy Bragg's classic cut. You're hearing the third take all the way through."

Dfactor added onto "A New England" another cool British band song from a 1989 LP along with it. Two covers for the price of one! Ding Ding! Bizarro! Hope you enjoy it!
