Music Industry News Network [03-03-2013] Tim Mcgraw Helps Induct Crook & Chase Into Country Radio Hall Of Fame
Last night at the Nashville Convention Center, Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase were among the 2013 class inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame at the annual awards gala, which kicks off the Country Radio Seminar. One of the longest-running broadcast duos in Country music, Crook and Chase were introduced by Country superstar Tim McGraw, who took the opportunity to thank them for helping launch his music career in 1993. McGraw credited Crook and Chase for "…believing in me when there wasn't much to believe in." McGraw also read a note from his wife and fellow Country star Faith Hill and shared that he has a donkey on his farm named after Chase, because he also "…likes my wife a lot better than he likes me."
