MusicDish Founder Eric De Fontenay Leads Discussion On Talking Taiwan @ CMJ
MusicDish founder Eric de Fontenay will be moderating the CMJ panel "Talking Taiwan: Asia's Growing Marketplace" being held at at NYU Kimmel Center (60 Washington Square South) in Room 405 from 3:30-4:30 PM. The panel will focus on the interactions and differences of the music scenes/industries in Taiwan and the US, and the implications for American artists wishing to enter Asia's growing music market. The panel will include musicians and executives sharing their first-hand experiences on both sides of the Pacific as well as on collaborative projects that can help American musicians enter the Taiwanese and broader Asian markets.

Eric will also be hosting the official Taiwan Music 2013 press conference held at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (1 East 42nd St.) on October 15th at 2:00pm, as well as the networking event "Meet Taiwan Music" organized by MusicDish and Hip Hop USA at downtown Manhattan's Gonzalez y Gonzalez (192 Mercer St) from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Eric de Fontenay founded digital media firm MusicDish, subsequently launching the largest music newswire Mi2N.com. In 2009, he turned his focus on China's music industry, culminating in the MusicDish*China brand that partners with key events, from Midi and Zebra festivals to DongDong conference. Eric has worked on events featuring award-winning Taiwanese acts in Paris and NYC since 2011 as well as booking tours in China for Western acts.
