Both Remington and Pollard, co-authors of the chapter -Copyright and Rights Management of Communications - discuss an array of topics ranging from timely copyright issues in the digital age to cases such a WNET v. Aereo to the future of copyright legislation.

According to Michael Remington " When you think about the DMCA, the end all be all, in terms of protecting copyright in the internet or the digital space, Napster didn't even exist, and that's old history. Social Media didn't exist. Cloud computing didn't exist. So all these changes have occurred and we are stuck with sending take down notices to Google, they get 27 million take down notices a month."
