Shanghai China BM Regional Group sponsors Film and Video Matinees at Bar Dada Shanghai Saturday, Feb 22 and at Bar Dada Beijing Sunday, Feb 23, 2014

Burning Man China, the regional outreach group for the annual desert performance music art and survival festival in Nevada USA, in conjunction with Bar Dada, will present a free showing of the latest films and videos from the 2013 Burn on two consecutive afternoons at Dada's two locations in Shanghai and Beijing.

The 2013 Burning Man Festival, with the theme 'Cargo Cult,' attracted nearly 70,000 artists, performers, musicians and theme camp participants to a remote section of the Black Rock Desert in North-West Nevada state for a weeklong celebration which ends, as always, with the burning of a giant effigy at the center of the site.

Before and after the film/video showings, local China BM activists will announce the latest news for those planning to attend the 2014 event to be held on August 25-September 10. They will also reveal plans of, and recruit volunteers for, support of a regional satellite burn to be held in China in the near future.

Admission is free to both events. The full bar will serve drinks during the showings.
