Sonar Lights (US) Live In Hong Kong

Hong Kong: On Friday 2 May, The Underground presents two unique bands at one unique venue. Sonar Lights (US) return to the region to deliver their brand of heavy alternative rock, characterised by complex rhythms and textures and striking eastern melodic vocals. This will be their second visit to China after their performance at last year’s Midi Festival. They are ably supported by The Time Traveller, a high-achieving young local band who are forging their own sound based on diverse influences. Both of these bands are independent success stories, making it on their own and stretching traditional genre boundaries to create something truly unique. There’s no better stage for them than Saffron, which has bent the rules for Hong Kong cafés by creating an atmosphere that’s warm and welcoming, artistic and open, and emphatically focused on quality. This is a show not to be missed.
