Parralox Releases “Crying On The Dancefloor” Single, Remixes And Music Video
Los Angeles, CA – Electronic pop mavens Parralox have released their show-stopping music video, for “Crying On The Dancefloor” which features the band and guest vocalist Francine judging a gritty futuristic dance contest with an unexpected twist - think “Blade Runner meets X-Factor”!
“Crying on the Dancefloor” is the follow-up single to Parralox’s widely popular track “Eye in the Sky” which catapulted the band to the attention of celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton. Perez included the band on his new compilation album, “Pop Up! #4”, helping garner almost 150,000 views of the video on YouTube for the band.
"Crying On The Dancefloor” is a collaboration between Parralox (producer/front-man John von Ahlen and edgy vocalist Johanna Gervin) and lead guest vocalist Francine; a London-based singer/songwriter who is currently recording for her debut album. The music video was conceived by cutting-edge London video director Simon Wan with creative direction and styling provided by Nik Pate and glamorous costumery courtesy of hot new fashion designer Manuel Díaz. The “Crying On The Dancefloor” Remix EP packs a heavy punch and includes an impressive set of producers lending their skills to the release including the iconic and legendary dance-floor mavens 7th Heaven along with Supasound, Naked Highway, Will Alonso and Your Silent Face. The single has been enjoying early support on radio including JOY 94.9 in Melbourne and This Is Electric in London. The single has also been B-listed by Phil Marriott on Gaydio.
