NW LoopFest Line-up Announced!

The NW LoopFest is back for another showcase! The greatest, most creative musical event you've never heard of happens at Rogues Ales & Spirits located at 748 SW Bay Blvd in Newport, OR on July 22nd. Admission is by donation. Time is 3pm to 10pm.

For those of you wondering what is a “LoopFest?” It is a showcase of music and technology performance artists. These artists use technology to instantly record and play back sound. It is a diverse, creative, innovative, and fascinating display of talent, science, and art. They are creative, interesting, and amazing. We include noise, ambient, avant-garde, and song form artists. Some are powerful, some are subtle, all are serious about their craft.

Facebook links are available for those who want to personally interact with the festival and performers. The NW LoopFest is an official satellite of the Y2K International Live Looping Festival and a participant in the One Month Festival based of out Seoul, South Korea.

The artists include old-school tape loopers and the newest users of the latest technologies. Performers from Texas, New York, Arizona join Northwest talent from Montana, Idaho, and Oregon to showcase music and technology in many vestiges.
