Sky Television Signs Deal With Riptide Music Group: Riptide Will Represent Sky's New Trailer Music Label "Wall Of Noise" Across The USA And Canada
Culver City, CA, May 8, 2018 -- Riptide Music Group (Riptide), a leading synchronization, rights management, and creative company that provides music to advertising, movie trailers, TV programming and promos, major motion pictures, videogames, and multi-media productions, has announced that Sky Television, “Home of Movies in the UK,” has signed Riptide to represent Sky’s newly launched trailer music label, “Wall of Noise,” across the USA and Canada. The “Wall of Noise” trailer music catalogue, joins some of the biggest names in trailer music already being represented by Riptide.
The team behind “Wall of Noise” enlisted the contributions of some of the best composers in the business today, to deliver this carefully crafted new catalogue, and tailored it specifically for producers, editors and creatives working in motion picture advertising and major network TV Promo. The “Wall of Noise” team crafted the library from scratch, by working with Sky Television’s trailer producers to address the specific needs for its numerous movie channels. The executives at Riptide Music Group believe that the “Wall of Noise” label has a strong potential within the U.S. and Canadian marketplace.
Geoff Cox, “Wall of Noise” Producer, has overseen the project from conception to release. He said, “Riptide is a dynamic company with big ambitions - we are hugely excited about this new partnership. They have a great reputation with proven success in the trailer market, and we are confident of a long and fruitful relationship.”
Adds Keatly Haldeman, CEO, Riptide Music Group, “Sky TV produced this catalog of trailer and promo music because they couldn’t find anything previously available that matched the positioning and quality of their brand. Sky is an iconic UK network, not to mention a very prestigious partner for us. We’re truly honored that they chose Riptide to represent their official music catalog in the U.S. and Canada.”
Brandon Rauch, Riptide’s Creative Manager, Trailers, said, “The ‘Wall of Noise’ catalog is going to be a game changer! I’m excited about the catalogue’s extensive dramatic cues, its use of strings, and the variety of organic sonic elements it features. Through our collaboration with the ‘Wall of Noise’ team, we will also be creating an entirely new sound design catalog – one that will be useful on a regular basis for music supervisors and trailer editors.
“Our newly acquired ‘Wall of Noise’ catalogue is going to be a great asset to any music supervisor or editor in the trailer world!” adds Taylor Amazon, Riptide’s Creative Manager, Trailers. “From the easily searchable ‘Hard As Nails’ sound design, to organic driving drum cues, to the intimate, high quality production value of their strings, these releases will quickly become a reliable, trustworthy, ‘go-to’ resource for so many different production needs.”
